About Tribble
Tribble is a a stand-up comedian, podcast producer and catfish currently living in Los Angeles, by way of Chicago, by way of Ohio. Her hilarious delivery, love for sharing knowledge and ability to connect with audiences of all kinds shines through in every performance, event and program that she is a part of.
Currently, Tribble is the producer for the popular podcast Dead Ass with Khadeen and Devale Ellis at iHeartMedia. And is an on-air host on Rhode Island’s NPR station, The Public’s Radio.
Tribble is the co-creator and co-star of Good Genes, an Afro-futuristic web series that uses humor and forward-thinking to lay out the possibilities of a different world. Good Genes was an official selection at Black Web Fest (Best Web Series), Boston Sci-Fi (Best Short), DC Independent Film Festival (Best Web Series), Miami International SciFi Film Fest, DC Web Fest, Series Fest (Best Director: Comedy) and Miami Web Series Festival.
Tribble previously worked as the midday host on Chicago’s Vocalo Radio 91.1FM, a Chicago Public Media station.
Tribble is an outspoken advocate for Black liberation and women’s rights, and supports and advocates for the LGBTQI community in Chicago and beyond. Her work as a comedian, emcee and artist centers marginalized groups and identities with the mission to create and take up space in traditional media and performance spaces that does not traditionally and widely represent them.
Since 2017, Tribble has been curating a monthly Queer Comedy Night at Reunion Chicago to support the incubator and event space’s mission to provide their space and services on a sliding scale to LGBT+, especially those of color.
Using the framework of art and information as resistance, she created and launched the podcast, P Power Radio, a podcast that shares the stories of revolutionary millennial women and the history of the world they are working to change, in 2016 as the show’s host, producer and editor. P Power Radio has featured a range of women artists, activists, entrepreneurs and bosses, and was listed on Ebony.com as 1 of 5 Black Podcasts to Have in Your Arsenal.
